Founder
Laura is the founder and creative force behind Unicorn Cinemagic, an Albuquerque-based production company that blends powerful storytelling with bold visuals. Her love for performance and storytelling began in high school, where she was an active thespian, and that passion has guided her ever since.
Today, she is a proud IATSE Local 600 member and holds a degree in Film, bringing both creative intuition and technical expertise to her work. As a Hispanic woman in the film industry, she’s committed to uplifting diverse voices and building inclusive production environments — both on set and in post.
With a background in producing, directing, cinematography, and editing, she has worked on a wide range of projects including documentaries, short films, branded content, and music videos. Her work reflects the cultural richness of New Mexico while embracing cutting-edge camera technology and modern cinematic style. Whether she’s capturing a powerful moment or refining a story in the edit bay, her mission is always the same: to create work that resonates.
